Today's project is super special to me. This is the one image I feel I really colored well. I have been doing the self paced coloring class from kit and Clowder and it's almost like I finally get it:) Take a look:
I used my copics to color her and a Whimsy stamp that I got from the Not2ShabbyShop on Zibbet called Candy Cane Dreams. Here's a little close-up:
My coloring has definitely evolved this past year and I honestly could not stress that I have had to practice, a LOT! but I love it! what do you think?

So I feel like it's been a VERY long time since my last post:/ well not that long but still! I have an exciting project to share with you! As you know I am a design team member for the not2shabbyshop on Zibbet. For this month's projects I chose La La Land Stamps. I know! I have never created with them and to be quite honest, I have no idea why! I had a blast!
I created an easel card using the BoBunny Isabella Collection. I colored my image with my trusty copics:) One of the stamps that I chose is Birthday Cake Marci. Take a look:
I am typically not a pink type of gal but, this project just makes me so happy and I am loving the pink!

Today's blogpost is so exciting to me! I haven't done a Besties card in a little bit so this was a lot of fun to create! I used the Enchanted Collection by Bo Bunny and a beautiful My Besties image by Sherri Baldy:
To be honest I wasn't sure where the green and purple would take me but, I was pleasantly surprised:
I just love creating with the My Besties stamps because they allow me to either do a simple card or a more embellished card.
I was talking to one of my crafty friends and she said "Hey! that's how you wear your hair!". I didn't even realize it! haha! Maybe that's why I was so drawn to her!

I know it has been a while since I have posted and I am working on a regular schedule for my blog! So much has happened in my crafty world within the last month!! This year one of my main goals was to take more crafty classes from "celebrity" crafters and manufacturers such as Heartfelt Creations, Frank Garcia and Stephanie Barnard! Well, you have probably read the title of this post, yes! I had the opportunity to meet AND take a class from Stephanie Barnard herself!
I will admit that when I first saw her stamps and dies I wasn't sold. Yup, I said it! And it's only because I was into the whole frou-frou/Shabby Chic style!
One of my local scrapbooking store It's all about the Scrapbook in Dixon California was offering a class with Stephanie! So of course I hesitated ( I'm hard headed I know!! ) and I said to myself, "take it, you might learn a few things besides- She's successful she MUST be doing something right!" So off I went!
I wasn't sure what to expect and boy! I had a blast AND fell in LOVE with her products. I love how simple and easy to use everything was and how much FUN I had! She was so sweet and very patient with everyone! I just loved everything about the class!
Here is Stephanie and I at the class. I am holding the Sizzix Stamper's Secret Weapon one of her latest creations! Did you know she even was the mastermind behind the sizzix magnetic platform?! She helped with the placements of the magnets! If you are not sure what the magnetic platform is be sure to click the link!
Stephanie has inspired me so much in one night that I had to go out the next day buy a few of her dies!

Today I wanted to come to you with a 6 X 6 mini Album. It was soooo much fun to create and the colors were so darling! I made this mini for my sister who has been living in France for the past year. She came home to California for her birthday and, I knew I wanted to create something for her that she could cherish for years to come. I picked random pictures from her Facebook page that illustrated some her the moments I thought she would want to remember from her first year living the "French" life. Of course I took a few pictures:)
This is the front cover I used the Hello Today Collection by Heidi Swapp and of course, Prima flowers. Here are a couple more pictures of the inside.
Pictures do not give the mini album justice so for that reason, I of course did a project share video. Check it out!
This Mini album took me about a day to finish. I guess when you are having fun and have a deadline, it's easier to get it done right?! haha. Since my sister had told me she liked my cards I HAD to make one for her so, of course I had to create one that matched not only the mini but also her personality!
You guess it! it's a My-Besties card! I love the colors of this one! Mainly because they're my faves but so cute! She loved her presents and said she would display them at her place in France:) The look on her face when she opened her present was priceless. I loved seeing her reaction!

So you know that I typically make cards with stamped images well, I actually do make cards without stamped images. For this one I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up as well as paper from my favorite paper company Prima:)
I designed an easel card and really wanted to use more "masculine" colors. Here is my take on it:
I used some bling from Recollections and the flowers are from Prima of course! I used the Time Traveler's Memories Collection I just love the deep elegant colors of that collection! If I have been thinking about getting the papers from this collection, get them!! It will make any project stunning!

I'm excited and a bit sad about today's post:/ Well, it is because this project will be my LAST Design Team Project for The Piece by Piece. I've had the honor to design for them and get to know some amazingly talented fellow DT members.

I started with a card and was initially going to make a couple of cards until I stumbled upon a mason I spotted at the dollar tree. Here is what I came up with:
