Mini Pigment Inks and storage box from Close To My Heart

Being organized in my craft room has always been a challenge because when I started this journey, I did not realize how addicting this hobby can be! When I saw this small storage box from Close To My Heart, I knew it was something I had to have.

It is so nice and slim and I just love that it has a handle on top for when I want to take it somewhere other than my craft room. When I saw this in the Close To My Heart catalog, I already had a plan for it!!

So, almost a year later, my plan finally planned out! I wanted to get the foam insert and the mini pigment inks to help fill this amazing box! When I look at it now, it makes me all giddy inside haha!

They almost look like eyeshadows! I was once a freelance makeup artist so you can see why I was so excited! The colors are so pretty and I am thrilled to be able to have all 40 of the mini pigment inks from Close To My Heart.

Bible Journaling - Matthew 21:22

It has come to my attention that I haven't been using my Journaling Bible in almost a week! ( You can thank my hubby for that one!! ) So I decided to do some Bible Journaling today:) I have had Matthew 21:22 bookmarked for a week now and I finally did a lil journal entry about it.

I used my Bible Hi-Gliders to highlight the verse as well as my Wink of Stella pens to add hearts to the beginning and end of the verse.

As I have mentioned in the video, I particularly chose Matthew 21:22 to journal about because I will be honest, I don't sometimes have faith in things that I pray for and, that is something that I definitely need work on in my everyday life. I am human and there are so many things I need to practice on a daily basis and having more faith is one of them.

Don't you love the way the colors pop? I didn't think that I would like that "everyday" ephemera from Heidi Swapp but I actually would love to have another one of those! haha!

This Bible Journaling "thing" has been such an incredible journey so far. I have learned so much about myself and have realized of the "things" that are most important to me.

ESV Journaling Bible - Review

Since I have started my Journaling Bible journey I have been asked so many times which one I use, how do I like it, where did I purchase it and so forth. Today I wanted to give you a review on the Journaling Bible I purchased on Amazon.

First off, I picked up a black cover Journaling Bible just because I tend to like more a "plain" look when it comes to religious books like a Bible. I really wasn't sure which one to get when I was first introduced to the "idea" of journaling in a Bible.

This Journaling Bible is approximately 6.25 X 7.25. The back has an elastic that can be brought up to the front of the Bible.

I really like that the elastic gives me the option to "bulk-up" my Bible with embellishments and stickers:)

The spine is about 1.5 inches and has name embossed in a gray color. Let's take a look at the inside shall we?

The Margins are 2 inches wide ( which is enough for the type of journaling I do ) and they are either on the left or right side. 

I really love the feel of this Journaling Bible. Here are some other features:

•  Text is at 7.5 it has
• 1,088 pages
• A one year Bible reading plan (which can be really useful if you are not sure where to start). 
• A black ribbon marker that helps find where you left off.

I don't know about you but, it has been much colder these days and I live in California!! haha! Well I decided to take a semi-break from Winter/Holiday projects just for this project. I started but coloring her hair with my copics and I am getting surprised by how much practice can affect your skills whether it's copic coloring or learning to play the piano.

I bought this stamp from the Not2Shabby shop on Zibbet for which if you are not aware I design for. This is by far one of the best designs team I have been a part of and Jamie (the owner) happens to be a crafty gal herself and creates some pretty awesome projects with some of the products she carries in her shop.

The sentiment stamp is from C.C Designs called: Happy Harvest which I also got from the Not2Shabby shop on Zibbet.

Faith Friday

I have been trying to get into mixed media for a while now but I didn't know what to "mix media" about. If you have been reading my blog, you have probably have seen my blogpost on Bible journaling. So I decided to start an art journal where I can do some mixed media along with incorporating my faith.

Devine Tilda

Magnolia stamps have always been on my list of stamps to work with. This is my first Magnolia Tilda card:) I am LOVING the way the hair came out. I have been practicing coloring with my copics and I am taking a self-paced class from Kit & Clowder.  For this project I used pinks and grays which is very unusual for me. Those of you who have been following me for a little bit know that I am more of a teal/mint/aqua gal. 

I created a 6x6 card with a Magnolia Stamp that I got from the Not2Shabby Shop on Zibbet called Devine Tilda.

This project was created for the Not2Shabby design team for which I always upload videos for:)

I distressed the edge with Tim Holtz' distress ink in Vintage Photo. Here are a few of the products I have used:
