It's been a long while since my last blog post. I do want to say that I am planning on posting more regularly as well as letting you guys know about Close To My Heart promotions and/or giveaways I will be having:)
I was inspired by Catherine Pooler for this card:
I wanted to share some of the products I used:
For inks I used The Hero Art Shadow Ink in Butter Bar- A gorgeous yellow almost mustard but has enough brightness. I paired it up with Tim Holtz' Distress ink in Picked Raspberry which, mixed together gives it a beautiful Orange color. I also used a mini heart punch by Fiskars ( I don't know the name, it was given to me). It punches out the cutest hearts and added a nice little touch to the card.
As a sentiment I used this stamp by Heidi Swapp. It is from her older collections but I am sure you can find it online:)
For the flowers on the card, I used the upper right flower on this stamp Set by Inkadinkado. You can see that I bought it at Marshalls a few months ago and I am not sure if they will have any more:(
