Keepin' It Simple

Hi Friends!

I know it's been a little while since I have done a pocket scrapbooking layout so here I am:) In today's project I wanted to show that you can create a simple project but still be cute!

I kept it really simple and used On Cherry Street kits from The Sweet Stamp Shop. 

Here is all you need to make a cute and simple layout:

1. Photos

2. Pocket pages cards ( I used both the Magical & Day To Day kits in this layout )

3. Embelishments ( Optional )

The cool part of the kits from the Sweet Stamp Shop is that they come with embellishments! Which is great if you are a beginner and just starting out your pocket pages stash.

Just Magical

Hi Friends!

I feel like it has been a while since I have last written on my blog! Today's post will not have a video with it and I will tell you why. You want to know the honest truth? Well, I just started creating and by the time I was done I realized I didn't turn on my camera. I got so wrapped up with this layout that I didn't even think about pressing the record button! But hey! it happens right? I do have some awesome pictures to share of my "Magical" layout.

I used the Sweet Stamp Shop's Magical kit. If you have been reading my blog, it is safe to say that I you know I design for them:) When this kit was released I was not part of the design team but oh boy the colors of this kit has my name all over it!

See!? Told you! The name of this kit made me remember magical moments of my relationship with my hubby:) These layouts are going inside my "book about us". Here are more pictures:

It's so funny to me that I included the card that says "Keep Calm And Kiss A Frog" because in real life, I am terrified of frogs! haha! I had to let you guys in to my little secret:) But it went so incredibly well with the rest of the layout I just had to:) Have you ever made a layout and the quote or saying on the card had a double meaning to it?

The Other day I got a bunch of Instagram notifications on my phone and guess what? Sweet has an Instagram account and posted one of my layouts! Make sure you follow the Sweet Stamp Shop if you aren't already. Well, while you're at it, make sure you follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and!! of course their blog:)

Reflections Thursday

Hi Friends!

What a fun post I have for you today! As most of you know by now, I am part of the Sweet Stamp Shop's design team:) Nicole a.k.a Mrs. Sweet came out with a special release this month called: Reflections. If you like to journal and reflects on your projects, this is the kit for you!

I am currently working on my 2014 album. I never realized how much has already happened this year! One of my goals was to get on a design team and I look back and I did get on a design team early 2014!

I also met one of my subscribers as I was shopping at my local scrapbook store.

I have been loving adding enamel dots to my layouts because it gives such a nice touch to the pictures as well as the cards that are in the reflections kit. 

I wanted to share that this kit is perfect for any type of reflection that you might have. When I first got the kit I thought I could only use it to reflect on myself. Well, I was definitely wrong haha. The Stamp set that Mrs. Sweet created is now one of my staples when it comes to creating layouts.

I just love how it all comes together with the bright colors. It just makes me feel happy:) I also wanted to share with you that not only the Sweet Stamp Shop has a blog, they also have a YouTube channel, make sure you check them out!

Pocket Style Scrapbooking

Hi Friends!

I am so excited about today's post! I have been LOVING pocket style scrapbooking! It is so much fun and easy! The best part is that I get to design pages with the Ahoy Kit from the Sweet Stamp Shop! I have had these pictures from my trip to the Philippines back in 2009! This kit is perfect for it!


I typically don't turn the camera on when I scrapbook so this was a little different for me but I actually really enjoyed it! Here are my pages:
